Temple Bound Saints recently witnessed a milestone that will forever be etched in our hearts. For the first time, Temple Bound was able to assist a group of Saints in Africa in making the sacred journey to the temple—and what unfolded was nothing short of remarkable.

A group of 33 youth traveled from Eldoret, Kenya, to the Nairobi Kenya Temple, carrying with them faith, anticipation, and a deep desire to serve. For many of these youth, this trip represented far more than travel—it was the fulfillment of prayers, preparation, and hope.

During their time at the temple, these youth performed over 1,000 baptisms, offering sacred ordinances to countless individuals who had been waiting for this work to be done. The impact of those ordinances will be felt far beyond the walls of the temple and far beyond this single trip.

What made this journey especially powerful was the spirit of unity and purpose among the youth. They traveled together, worshipped together, and served together—strengthening their testimonies of Jesus Christ and His temple. For some, this was their first time entering the temple. For all, it was a life-changing experience.

This trip stands as a reminder of why Temple Bound Saints exists: to help remove barriers so that faithful members—no matter where they live—can access the blessings of the temple. Distance, cost, and logistics can be overwhelming, but faith has a way of opening doors when hearts are willing.

We are deeply grateful for the leaders, donors, and supporters who made this journey possible, and especially for the youth who showed us what devotion and dedication look like in action. Their example inspires us and strengthens our resolve to continue this work.

This assisted trip to the Nairobi Kenya Temple marks just the beginning of what we hope will be many future opportunities to serve Saints across Africa and around the world.

The temple is truly a place where heaven feels close—and this journey brought heaven closer to many.
