This page is designed to help members prepare for, plan, and access support through the Temple Bound Patron Assistance Fund. It provides step-by-step guidance to help you work with local leaders, organize a temple trip, and receive the assistance needed to make your journey to the temple possible.
How to Qualify for Temple Trip Assistance Through the Temple Bound Patron Assistance Fund.
Contact us and ensure your group meets the following requirements
- Contact Temple Bound Saints - Start by contacting us to confirm funding availability, receive trip approval, and share details about your group and temple journey.
- Choose a Local Leader to Guide the Trip - Your group leader MUST be someone who serves as a leader in the mission, branch, district, stake presidency, or bishopric. They’ll help organize and coordinate the trip.
- Your group must have at least 5 participants traveling to the temple together. (Reach out to Temple Bound for exceptions to this rule)
- The group must include at least one member who has been baptized within the last 12 months or has received their endowment within the last 12 months.
- Contact us for exceptions to any of these requirements.
Get Started: Have Your Group Leader Call or Email Temple Bound Saints for Approval
Have your group leader reach out to Temple Bound to approve your trip. After approval, we’ll set up a shared folder just for your group. Inside, you’ll find the Temple Trip Planning Spreadsheet, where Temple Bound and your group leader will work together to gather all the details and start planning your temple trip.

Fill Out The Temple Trip Group Planning Sheet
This is the online spreadsheet form that was created for your group during Step 2. This form helps us understand your group’s needs and coordinate support. Be sure to complete all sections with accurate information to avoid travel-related issues or delays.
Finalize Temple Trip Planning Spreadsheet
Finalize your group planning spreadsheet and then upload any other required documents for your trip into the Google Drive Folder that was created and shared with you under Step 2.
