Eldoret to Nairobi: A Powerful Temple Journey Led by Elder Kelem
Faith, leadership, and sacrifice came together in an incredible way as Elder Kelem from Eldoret, Africa led a group of 22 saints on a sacred journey to the Nairobi Temple.
For many in the group, this was not just a trip—it was the fulfillment of long-held hopes and prayers to enter the house of the Lord. Under Elder Kelem’s leadership, the group traveled with purpose, unity, and deep devotion.
The impact of their time in the temple was remarkable.
Together, they were able to complete:
- 300 baptisms
- 65 endowments
- 50 sealings
Each ordinance represents individuals and families moving forward in faith—both on this side of the veil and beyond. The collective effort of this group created a powerful wave of spiritual work that will have lasting, eternal impact.
What made this experience even more meaningful were the personal stories behind it.
We had the opportunity to capture several interviews with members of the group, where they shared their testimonies, their sacrifices to make the journey, and the feelings they experienced while in the temple. Their words reflect a deep love for the gospel and a profound gratitude for the opportunity to participate in this sacred work.
👉 Be sure to watch the interviews below to hear directly from these incredible saints.
This trip is a reminder of what can happen when faithful leaders step forward and help create opportunities for others. Elder Kelem’s efforts not only made this journey possible—but helped strengthen testimonies, build unity, and bring people closer to the Savior.
We are continually inspired by the faith of saints around the world and grateful to be even a small part of helping these experiences happen.
