Our First Temple Trip from Tanzania

A Journey of Faith from Mwanza to Nairobi

This trip marked a special milestone for Temple Bound—our very first temple journey in the country of Tanzania.

A group of 22 faithful saints traveled together by bus from Mwanza to the Nairobi Temple. What may seem like a simple trip on paper was, in reality, a powerful act of faith, sacrifice, and devotion. Long hours on the road, careful planning, and a shared purpose brought this group together in a way that is both humbling and inspiring.

There is something uniquely special about beginning work in a new country.

Each new location reminds us that the Lord is mindful of His people everywhere. As we continue to see temple trips expand into new areas, it becomes more and more evident that this is His work—and He is guiding it.

Being part of moments like this allows us to witness firsthand the gathering of Israel in these latter days. Watching these saints make the journey to the house of the Lord, many for the first time, strengthens our own faith and deepens our gratitude.

This trip to Nairobi was more than just travel—it was a step forward in something much bigger.

We feel incredibly blessed to play even a small role in helping make these experiences possible. And as we look ahead, we are filled with excitement for what the future holds in Tanzania and beyond.
