St. Lucia Saints Travel to the Panama City Temple
From September 8–11, 2026, a group of 28 Latter-day Saints from St. Lucia traveled to the Panama City Temple, led by Brother and Sister Josephson. Their visit was marked by gratitude for the blessings of the temple and for the many people whose kindness and service helped make the experience possible.
Reflecting on the trip, the Josephsons expressed heartfelt thanks to those who supported the group:
“We had an absolutely amazing experience at the temple. Your contributions to our experiences did not go unnoticed and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity.”
Their message also recognized the “incredible support, love and Christlike service” extended to the St. Lucia Saints.
That gratitude was shared by those who welcomed them. One host wrote:
“We enjoyed sharing with you those days. You and your group brought an extraordinary spirit to our lives.”
After seeing photographs from the trip, Sister Bayola, who serves in the Caribbean Area office, shared her hope that the members would always remember how they felt as they attended the house of the Lord. She also expressed her gratitude to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for the blessings of the temple and the opportunity to serve in the Caribbean.
The messages exchanged after the visit reflect the love and faith that connected the St. Lucia Saints with those who served alongside them. The Josephsons closed their thanks in three languages:
“¡Muchas gracias! Thank you! Merci ashai!”
