From October 12, 2026 to October 15, 2026, Saints from Mwanza traveled to Nairobi.
It is always a blessing being in our Heavenly Father's house, we serve by doing proxy for our families who are no more, and getting an invitation to volunteer to serve people in the Temple is a double blessing.
Next month using this trip I will serve other people in the Temple and I am excited about it
The trip was more than amazing just seeing how people I love and connected to are happy to make their commitment towards internal life
Temple trip experience is something I will never forget. We traveled the whole day and night with the Saints from Mwanza Tanzania and arrived safely at 2 AM midnight tired in body but so strong in spirit. When we saw the lights of the Nairobi Temple for the first time, everyone shouted with joy, some members cried, some were singing, because for some of them it was their first time ever to see the Temple not in a picture but face to face. Inside the Temple we were all so excited, you could see it on everyone's face, we could not stop smiling and thanking God. We had a powerful devotional with the Temple President on our last night and we did sacred work for our ancestors, and we all felt that our families are truly happy on the other side. Even though my phone died while recording videos for the members and I lost many photos, the excitement and the Spirit we felt cannot be lost. We returned safely last night and all members are home safe, still full of joy and testifying that this is the true House of the Lord.
