Temple Bound Sponsors Its First Temple Trip from India
A Historic Journey to the Bangkok Thailand Temple
Temple Bound Saints recently celebrated an exciting milestone as we sponsored our first-ever temple trip from India. Nineteen faithful members traveled from Hyderabad, India, to the Bangkok Thailand Temple, making this a historic journey for both the participants and our organization.
Led by a dedicated stake high councilor, the group made the long journey with faith and anticipation as they prepared to worship in the House of the Lord and participate in sacred temple ordinances. Their willingness to sacrifice time, resources, and comfort to be in the temple was a powerful example of devotion to Jesus Christ.
As the trip came to a close, the group encountered an unexpected challenge. At the airport, the airline initially would not allow them to board because they did not have the physical credit card that had been used to purchase the airline tickets. For a moment, it appeared they might not be able to return home.
Through the Lord’s timing and tender mercies, the group was able to quickly contact Temple Bound Saints, and the necessary information was provided to the airline. The issue was resolved, and the entire group safely boarded their flight. It was a beautiful reminder that Heavenly Father watches over those who are striving to keep their covenants and serve Him.
We are deeply grateful for the faithful local leaders who organize and lead these temple trips and for the generous donors who make them possible. This first journey from India marks the beginning of what we hope will be many more opportunities to help faithful Saints throughout the country receive the blessings of the temple.
We look forward to returning to India and helping many more members make sacred covenants in the House of the Lord.
