35 Saints Travel from Eldoret to the Nairobi Kenya Temple
July 7–10, 2026
Thirty-five faithful members from the Eldoret Branch in Kenya traveled to the Nairobi Kenya Temple for a sacred and life-changing experience. For many, this journey represented months of preparation, sacrifice, and anticipation as they looked forward to worshipping in the House of the Lord and receiving sacred ordinances.
Several participants received their own temple endowment for the first time. Sister Nevia Chesang, who is preparing to serve in the Ghana Accra South Mission, shared that making covenants with the Lord filled her with joy and strengthened her testimony. She said she could feel God’s love so deeply that she “didn’t even feel like leaving the temple.”
For Abel Kiprob, it was also his first visit to the temple. After receiving his endowment and participating in proxy ordinances, he reflected on the peace he felt inside the temple, saying that once you enter, “you just feel the presence of God.” He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the donors who made the trip possible and testified of the Savior’s love for all of God’s children.
Sister Violet Bissola Andati also received her first temple endowment after faithfully completing temple preparation classes. She shared how grateful she was for the blessings she received and described the joy and peace she felt as she worshipped in the temple.
Temple Bound Saints is honored to have helped make this journey possible. We are grateful for the generous donors whose support provided transportation, food, and lodging, allowing these 35 faithful Saints to receive sacred temple blessings that will bless them and their families for eternity.
